1 organic Granny Smith or Pippin apple washed
1 turnip, scrubbed well
1 handful watercress, rinsed
5 carrots scrubbed well
Green tops removed, ends trimmed
1 large garlic with peel, washed
Cut the apple and turnip into sections that fit your juicer's feed tube. Bunch up the watercress , and juice it with the apple, turnip, carrots, and garlic. Stir the juice , put in glass.
Did you know that you get the most benefit from your food if you eat things in a particular order? Often our meals consist of proteins, starches and fruit or vegetables. At the onset of your meal, there is plenty of stomach acid to help with digestion. The proteins are most difficult to digest so should be eaten first, followed by starches and concluded with vegetables or salad. The roughage helps to push things through the digestive system.
